Air2-MC300: Advanced magnetic contact for flexible installations
The Air2-MC300 goes far beyond a standard magnetic contact. It offers two magnet positions, set at 90° to each other, to facilitate installation in various configurations. Additionally, it features two terminals that can be individually programmed as inputs or outputs, enabling the management of different zone types (NO, NC, single or double balancing) and direct connection to shutter or vibration detectors.
Programmable I/Os for customizable security solutions
When used as outputs, the terminals provide 50mA open-collector signals. Each alarm – whether triggered by the magnetic contacts or the terminals – is reported separately to the control panel, enhancing event tracking and management. An optional feature allows one of the unused contacts to be configured as a magnetic anti-tamper detector, useful against tampering attempts with magnets. The device also includes anti-removal and anti-opening protection, and is available in white, black, and brown to blend seamlessly with its surroundings.
