Installation for Private Customers
All Inim systems are equipped with backup batteries that ensure they continue to operate even when the power is out.
Inim systems must be installed by qualified professionals to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Every home has different needs: size, number of entrances, and the presence of pets or smart devices all influence the choice of system. We recommend that you contact an INIM-certified installer: thanks to their experience, they can conduct an on-site inspection and recommend the solution best suited to your lifestyle and the level of protection you desire.
Installation times vary depending on the size of the system and the number of devices to be installed. Generally, a standard system can be installed in one day by an INIM-certified installer.
After installation, you can always contact your INIM-certified installer or visit the dedicated section on our website to find technical support, updates, and after-sales services. To view all certified installers in your area, visit the dedicated page.
Inim Home App
To avoid having to enter your PIN every time you launch the app, you can enable the option to save your credentials by following these steps within the app:
Open the app's Settings -> Select Configuration and choose your control panel -> Enable the "Remember my code" option (or enter your User Code in the designated field).
Security Note: From now on, the app will no longer ask for your PIN for quick commands. If your smartphone supports it, we still recommend that you enable biometric unlocking (Fingerprint or Face ID) directly from the app's settings to keep your system secure in case you lose your phone.
This error indicates that the control panel is temporarily unable to exchange data with the Inim cloud. In most cases, the problem occurs as a result of:
- A change of router or internet service provider (fiber/ADSL).
- A change to your home Wi-Fi network (e.g., changing the network name or password).
- A temporary outage of the home internet connection.
- If your control panel uses a 2G, 3G, or 4G GSM communicator, make sure the SIM card inside has not expired or run out of credit. Contact your trusted installer for an on-site check.
What you can check right away:
Check to see if other devices in your home (smartphones, PCs) are able to access the internet properly. If the general internet connection is working, that means the hub needs to be reconnected to the new network.
How to fix it: If you've changed your router or Wi-Fi password, the control panel's network settings are no longer synchronized. In this case, we recommend contacting your trusted installer, who can quickly reconfigure the control panel's connection (via LAN cable or Wi-Fi module) safely.
To resolve the issue, you can check it right away directly from the app by running a send test:
Open the app and go to Settings -> Help -> Select "Test Push Notification"
At this point, two scenarios are possible:
- If you receive a test notification, it means the app and your smartphone are configured correctly. The issue is likely related to the control panel settings (e.g., a specific event is not enabled for push notifications). In this case, contact your installer or our support team to verify the event configuration.
- If you do NOT receive the test notification: The issue is related to your smartphone or the cloud servers. Before contacting support, check your phone's settings (iOS or Android) to make sure you've granted the Inim app all the necessary permissions to send notifications and that no "Power Saving" or "Do Not Disturb" modes are active that might be blocking them.
You can improve your app's security by enabling quick unlock directly from the internal menu. Follow these steps:
Open the app and go to Settings -> Select "Sign-in and Security" -> Choose the mode you prefer:
- Enable biometric authentication: to log in quickly using facial recognition (Face ID) or your fingerprint (Touch ID).
- Set a Lock PIN / System Password: to create a numeric code that you must enter every time you open the app.
Note: To enable biometric authentication in the Inim app, Face ID or your fingerprint must already be set up and enabled in your smartphone's general settings.
You can customize notification sounds directly from the app by following these steps:
Open the app -> Settings -> Configuration -> select your control panel. In this section, you can choose and set different ringtones for general notifications and alarms.
Advanced management based on your smartphone:
For iOS devices (iPhone): There is a very important feature that allows you to enable Critical Notifications in the event of an alarm. This option lets you receive the alarm sound at maximum volume, even if your phone is set to silent mode or "Do Not Disturb."
Installer Forms
First, you must purchase the licenses from your authorized Inim distributor. Once purchased, you will find them already loaded into your company profile.
To link them, follow these steps:
- Log in to the application and go to the Licenses section -> Select the control panel you want -> Choose the license you want to apply (e.g., voice license, terminal expansion, IP connectivity, etc.) and confirm the operation.
The app will handle activation in two ways:
- Online Control Panel (Cloud-Connected): The app will apply the license directly and automatically to the control panel in just a few moments.
- System offline: The app will provide you with a license unlock code. Simply enter this code manually on the system’s keypad to activate the feature. In addition, you can always reapply the license using the “Reapply” button found in the license details. This feature is useful if problems occurred during the activation process: you can reapply the license via the app without using the keypad.
Inim products are available exclusively through the network of authorized distributors. This approach ensures that professionals receive the highest quality, immediate availability, and certified technical support.

Yes. Inim products are designed to ensure maximum interoperability. The control units and devices support standard protocols such as Modbus, KNX, BACnet, and ONVIF, simplifying integration with existing systems.
All Inim products are developed and tested in accordance with the latest EN54 and CEI standards, and undergo rigorous quality controls to ensure high and long-lasting performance.
Yes, but this feature is currently available only for control panels in the SOL series (Inim's wireless solution).
By accessing the programming section in the InimTech app, you can follow a step-by-step, highly detailed setup guide for the entire system. As for other control panel lines (such as the Prime SmartLiving series), full programming requires the use of their respective PC software. However, our development team is constantly working to expand app-based programming capabilities to other control panels in the lineup in the future.
